Roadmap and vendor-delivery ownership across storefronts, mobile apps, and the systems behind a multi-brand commerce operation.

Download case study in MarkdownRoadmap ownership connected customer-facing releases with the commerce operation behind them. In a previous technology leadership role, Nicholas Roberts owned roadmaps and vendor delivery for four ecommerce storefronts and two React Native mobile apps.
The operating context
The technology remit spanned 20 brands and 35,000 SKUs, with flash sales, retail, private sales, auctions, clubs, and conversational commerce. Product decisions sat alongside catalog, inventory, fulfillment, and customer-data requirements.
That scope is relevant to a buyer whose new storefront or app must work with an existing business. A release decision affects the teams and systems that handle the resulting orders.
The responsibility
The résumé records ownership of the storefront and mobile roadmaps and coordination of vendor delivery. It also records technology modernization that replaced legacy commerce and inventory systems with Shopify Plus and a warehouse-management platform while maintaining trading continuity.
Hands-on migration work used Python and Pandas to transfer two million historical orders, representing $150 million in historical order value, alongside customer and product data. These records describe delivery work and the data involved.
The reported outcome
The résumé states that modernization supported 40% group-wide revenue growth. It does not specify the measurement period or isolate technology's contribution. The result should therefore be read as a reported company-wide outcome during the work, rather than a causal estimate for a particular release.
The four storefronts and two apps describe roadmap and vendor-delivery responsibility. The order count is historical migration volume; the dollar figure is historical order value. Neither is annual recurring revenue.
What this experience brings to a product brief
The relevant experience connects roadmap decisions, vendor coordination, hands-on technical work, and continuity of trading. For a new project, the useful questions are which customer task to improve, which operational dependencies must be covered, and what evidence will make a release ready.
Those questions inform Devekko's Product Development and Management service. Scope and outcomes for a new engagement are agreed separately.
